Dairy School is a nonprofit educational initiative of Peter Edmondson, an experienced dairy vet with over 45 years practising in the UK and overseas. For the last fifteen years he has been voluntarily supporting small-scale dairy farmers in Africa and Asia.
We provide high quality educational films for small-scale dairy farmers around the world. A small-scale dairy farmer has less than 20 cows, but the majority have less than five and many have only one or two.
We use films to provide essential practical skills and knowledge that directly benefits dairy farmers. Our films are available to watch free on the Dairy School YouTube channel.
Dairy School films are now being shown at community level in Malawi and Zambia. Several of our films have been translated into local languages such as Chichewa, Nyanja, Bemba and Tonga. This makes the content more accessible and significantly increasing audience learning.
