Peter Edmondson’s journey started when he visited Mozambique in 2012 to train small-scale farmers. He saw how just one cow was able to transform lives-improving nutrition, reducing poverty, and providing family education.
Since then, Peter has worked with small-scale dairy farmers in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Nepal, Zambia and Ethiopia. Many lack basic skills, and in-person training only reaches small numbers of people.
Educational films can provide clear and consistent messages delivering practical skills which can improve the productivity and profitability of dairy farming. This is where the idea of the Dairy School started: an innovative film-based platform delivering clear, consistent, practical, and culturally relevant education.
